• Smart Locking and Tracking System Mobile Phone with GPS

If you want to develop a project about mobile related then my idea is to look at this proposal.Now days it’s very serious problem for all to care about their smartphone or mobile. Mobile snatching is very common now in all countries and specially in third world countries like Pakistan , India. So people are looking for best tracking mobile applications. If someone stole your phone just send one sms , mobile will automatically go in lock mode and no-one can use it and there can be further features which we can be enhanced.

• Idea of this Final Year Project

My idea is to make SmartLTS (Smart Locking and Tracking System) with GPRS.Locking and Tracking systems do exist but this system will slightly be different from others. This system can be used for both mobiles and laptops. This system will be useful for smart phones and as well as other phones and laptops. Now a days such systems exist but they are being used only by Android and Blackberry.

• Why I want to make this final year project

I want to make this system for security purposes. User will be able to track and lock his phone/laptop remotely if it goes missing.Due to a lot of security issues such system is important. This system will also help user to keep his/her data safe and secure.

What is scope and requirement of this project?

Following points describe the scope and requirements of SmartLTS.
• This system can be used for tracking in any area of the world.
• This system can be used by both cell phone users and laptop users.
• To use this system , user must have a code that will be given to him at the time of purchasing device(phone/laptop).
• For efficient use of this system, company will update the information of user on their official website with the code that is assigned to a particular user.
• User must have internet access to use this system.
• This system will be installed in devices with GPRS(phones/laptops).
• If the device(phone/laptop) goes missing, user can simply open website of respective company from any other device(phone/laptop) to find out the location of his device.
• To find out location user will enter his/her code given by company at the time of purchasing device.
• If the device is not in secure hands then the user can simply ask the company to block his device(phone/laptop).
• This system will tell the location of device whether device is switched ON or OFF.
• Before blocking of the device, user will be able to download his/her data from the device with the help of SmartLTS.
• Data can be downloaded whether device(phone/laptop) is switched ON or OFF.
• If the user can successfully get back his/her device(phone/laptop) he/she will be able to unblock his/her device(phone/laptop).
• If the user can successfully get back his/her device(phone/laptop) he/she will be able to upload his/her data again in the device with the help of this system .
• User can download latest versions of different app’s installed on device(phone/laptop).
• SmartLTS will be connected to respective company’s website.
