The key issue in a restaurant billing is the speed and the accuracy.this project revolves around the development of the restaurant automation system. This system facilitates the restaurant personnel improve their services and hence improve their work and revenue.
This system is helpful for the customers to come and give their orders through the ordering system fixed in each table. A digital menu will be displayed on the table screen
When the order is given, it reaches the kitchen where the cook can examine what is ordered from which table number. The sequence of the arrival of the order is maintained and worked upon accordingly. This is an important aspect of Fine Dining. Table orders can be taken by the waiters, either manually or use of Order Taking Terminal with ease. The Order Taking Terminals can efficiently reduce time needed for taking orders and sending it to the kitchen for food preparation. You will need fewer waiters, and improve your order turn around time; your guest will appreciate the quick services given to them.
When the ordered food gets ready the waiter is notified through a screen on the outer side of the kitchen. The waiters are notified which table number is to be served.
After being served the bill by the waiter, the customer can pay it and leave. The amount received is managed and entered in the database of the restaurant.
Before leaving the customers can also record their views about the restaurant and their experience. Their interaction with the system can be analyzed. Further advanced features are also included such as Table Combining, Table Splitting, Table transfers and much more options.
At the end of the day the record of the total revenue and the customer’s experience can be viewed and monitored by the manager and a detailed report will be finally presented to the owner.
